This product is saturated in olive oil to keep the wood in tip-top shape. Each wooden serving plate is unique and may have different coloring and texture.
With proper care and maintenance, your olive wood serving plate will last a lifetime. We recommend that you wash it by hand quickly with warm water and a gentle detergent. Dry the product immediately and never let it sit in water for a long period of time. Your olive wood product will need to be oiled once a month or every other week depending on how often you use it. Gently rub olive oil over the whole surface with a soft kitchen towel and pat off any extra oil before storing it in a dry, clean area away from direct sunlight or heat.
